<p>After Yaya Toure’s recent move in July of this year from Barcelona to Manchester City, he expressed his desire this week to return to Spain. In an interview with <em>Radio Catalunya</em> he said, “I will be back in Barcelona to play, not as a tourist. I want to return to Barcelona, because to leave was the hardest moment of my life”.</p>
<p>The 27 year old Ivory Coast international player stated in a previous interview in January of 2009, “…I love Barcelona. It is the best club in the world…I want to finish my career here and show everyone that this club means a lot to me…”.</p>
<p>Yaya Toure began his career in Europe in Belgium and then moved across the continent to the Ukraine, Greece, Monaco, Spain and now the UK. He told <em>Radio Catalunya</em>, “…what I want are games, not sitting on the bench. I won everything there [Barcelona] and needed other challenges”.</p>
<p>“For me, Manchester City is a very nice challenge. This is a team that is not playing in the Champions League, and that has not won any titles recently. Therefore, they are perfect for me.”</p>
